12th May 2009 We reach Mitchell in South Dakota

Weather is holding up, but lots of wind with rain predicted, so we continue north, Mt Rushmore is still 250 miles away, but we should reach it tomorrow. On our way today we still found a new Bass Pro Shops and another Cabela’s.

P5120107 Trying out a Nitro X-5. What is interesting here is that they build boats that are capable for large engines, but then they restrict them to a small engine on the plate, so you cannot put a larger motor on in the US. This sounds like a good deal by importing these boats to RSA and then fitting a larger motor.
