17 June 2009 Memphis TN The Quest for Graceland.

Today the mission was to find the Bass Pro Shops in Memphis and then too see if we could find the last resting place of “The King” Elvis. The Bass Pro shop was somewhat different in that it was a Sportsman’s warehouse , It was not as spectacular as all the others, but had a lot of interactive goodies for the kids on summer holidays. After the visit we left to Memphis the home of Elvis. I know my parents were Elvis fans and I was also in an Elvis phase at a stage in my life, so it was only fitting to go find Graceland and all of Elvis’s planes and cars.

It was quite amazing to see the Graffiti wall were all his fans leave messages for him.
