14 June 2009 Still in Knoxville TN

We planned a nice SA braai on Sunday morning, We got some good Pork and Italian Sausages (at least they look like Boerewors) . Had a great braai and the sausages were not even that bad. Thanks to Mark and Rietha for some great braaiing and salads. In the afternoon as everyone was relaxing and getting some shut eye or put their artistic skills to the test, I decided to take Michi to go fishing. It really is a pleasure to go onto Google Earth, look for a place to fish close by and i talk about within a 10 minute drive. Put the directions into the GPS and load the tackle and go fish. We found two spots that were really great. There was a grandfather with his Grandson fishing, but they were not having any luck. But don’t fear when Andrew and Michi are near. We soon had the fish figured out and after I caught a fish I did my bit and handed the rod to the 6 year old youngster to get the small bass out. Another fisherman is born. I total we caught 8 Bass and about 10 Bluegills in a hours time. Great fun in the sun.

Sidewalk Artists hard at work P6140087 We just parked the car along the road next to the pond and started fishing. The grandfather and his Grandson in the Background, Michi into the first Bass.

The youngster was eager and that is when we decided to get him hooked. See our car in the background, no problem. A new angler is born after I handed him my rod to land this Bass. When we got home, we spent an hour on another of America's pastimes shooting. Darrion, Michi and myself shhoting targets with D's highpower air rifle.
