17 – 19 July 2009 The last days of our Orlando Flex ticket.

The last days of our Flex ticket we will use to do all the shows we have not had the opportunity to do, or do all the rides that were fun. We did not take a camera along as we moved light , without any bags to get into lines faster. We watched the water show at Seaworld and I just had to see Shamu again. We also finally got the chance to ride the Manta again, but this time right in front. Sven and Michelle plucked their guts together and rode some of the bigger rides. They rode the Mummy, which to me was quite scary in the beginning, and afterwards it was let’s do it again from all. We also did Wet and Wild again and this time we were there at just the right time and we could do all the rides. Michelle did not want to do the Black hole, which was more spectacular than the Disco ride, but eventually plucked up enough courage to do it. We also did the Brainwash twice, which has quite a steep drop. And then it was the Stuka, a six storey drop straight down, similar to the tower of courage at Sun City. And guess what , Michelle was the first to say let’s do it. So we climbed the tower and I tell you it was high, but Michelle got on and of she went. Very proud of that one. Now we will start to focus on our final arrangements and the blog will slow down, unless there are more fun things to report on.

The local wildlife with a peanut At Seaworld's water garden The drop! Sven and Michelle on Shamu Roller coaster Unfortunately the pictures did not come out so well with the low light conditions, but I will post them anyway. The sory of a fisherman that falls into the ocean and falls in love with a mermaid. Very good acrobatics in the show There is always an evil witch with her dragon 10 But god always conqours evil. We got some free tickets for the games area, so the kids tried their luck. The Shamu show, this time I tried to capture better photos with the zoom lens The announcertelling the story about "Believe" Therre are four Killer whales performing before Shamu comes on. 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 The start of a pirouette He did 3 full rotations. The Shamu appeared in pouring rain. Look at the size of Shamu's pectoral fins 28 Well if the rain did not get you, Shamu made sure the people in the front were soaked. The rain was pouring down in buckets. The Kraken in the far back hardly visible. And after 5 minutes it was gone The nabe of the show. and even in Afrikaans. We ended the day by strolling through some more exhibits. Shamu.
