We decided to go to Bush gardens in Tampa as there are two shows we have not seen yet and I might convince myself to tackle the “Sheikra”. Initially we encounter traffic on the way there and all plans to be there early are shattered and we only arrive there at 10h40. So off to the Lorikeet cage we go so the kids can interact with the birds. From there we watched a brilliant animal show called the Castaway Critters. In the meantime I sussed out Sheikra and convinced myself that I am too s(*^t scared to do it. A least Michelle plucked up the courage to start riding the bigger coasters and actually rode the Gwazi with us (Sven did not like these and did not join after the first time.) We also rode the Montu again which is great fun. The heat was getting to us so we drove back to Orlando and rest awhile before going back to Seaworld to challenge the Manta caster and watching the Shamu Rocks show.
All I can say is what great fun. The Manta must be one of the most fun rides yet, floating in a Hang glider position and swooping through the air. The animal show was also great, but once again “Shamu” was the pick of the day with his show. The vibe and sound and visuals were so spectacular, the pictures do not do it justice, but I have the whole show on video.
