16 July 2009 Bush Gardens Tampa FL

Being Thursday we made the move to drive the 70 miles to Tampa to make our final visit to Bush Gardens. Here we wanted to see a few shows and animals that we missed previously. But today was a scorcher again with very high humidity. At least we saw all the animals close up and the show was also brilliant.

We satrted at the edge of Africa Not often you can get a picture of a Hippo like this. Look at those whiskers Then it was the Mayombe reserve where the Chimps and Gorillas are housed. 6 The heat was on and even the great apes were feeling it Eish ! 8 Then the flamingos came past Up close and personal 24 At the Maroccan Palace 13 14 15 16 17 18 21 22 This snake crossed our path in the middle of the Park.
