25 April 2009 From Jackson MS to Atlanta GA

Today we tackle the next part of the journey from Jackson in Mississippi to Atlanta Georgia, and as usual the first stop was a Bass Pro Shops Pearl that came our way in Alabama. This one we found by luck as it was not listed on the GPS.

Another one of the list. I want lamps like that on our Plot Feeding the racoons Playing in the shooting gallery, the kids scored plenty of free games. Everyone into the action P4250020 Another aquarium with big Bass Bear can kill elk Will have to try these lures some time Multi tasking redneck style Motivation Priorities

Being spring, the highways are filled with blossoms of all kinds. Time for lunch. Our daily diner where we eat the Buffet.

Then on the road again, and just outside Birmingham we find the next Bass Pro Shops in Leeds.

P4250056 Being close to Taledega where the Nascar is being raced this weekend, gave us the opportunity to see the #1 car of Bass Pro at the shop. A wild Arctic cat Cart P4250061 Jim-bob with his kill A beautiful driftwood bench

Playing with the local wildlife P4250077 The Bass Pro #1 Nascar Taledega Raceway getting ready for Nascar weekend The whole highway looked like this for about three miles There were more campers than at an F1 event.
