We decide to spend our last day in a hotel, before we do the 7 day Camping stint at Lake Roosevelt. We will not have any luxuries as there is no electricity in the Camp and the showers are cold as the Solar power is not very effective. But we are still enjoying every minute of it.
Once we settled in Phoenix we found out that there was a Cabela’s in town so we had to visit it before leaving for Roosevelt.
We took a drive to the closest town , about 30 miles away and boasting a Wal-Mart. This is however what the average American lives like. Shitty wooden dilapidated house and fancy car. Sounds familiar does it not. Even Danville is cleaner, but just because the people have to lock everything away otherwise it is stolen. Here at least there is little theft.
