23 April 2009 fishing and camping at Lake Fork TX

After the long drive from the west we decided to stay a bit longer in a place where the kids can run around and relax a bit We also fitted in some time to visit the Lake Fork Factory, famous home of the Lake Fork Lures. We also found out that this was a dry county and we had to drive 20 miles to the nearest liquor store to get something to quench our thirst.

This was also the first time we relaxed with a brew and “braaied” some “vleis” again with some Dozi in the background. I had a lekker “nadors” that evening from the Keystone’s

RelaxingA sneak peak into the back of our car with half the bags in the tent. Definately not travelling light.

Persistence persistence ! Everybody catching fish, Sunfish, Bass, Perch etc. P4220001 A nice Sunfish

Fun in the 30 deg heat. P4230025 The factory of Lake Fork LuresAs they say "Lures with Attitude"

Getting "vrot" on Keystone Ice Already "lightly tipsy" on Blue Hawaiian

The evidence American Braaimaster! This is a Jet Motor just for Alan, those V6's just make a lot of noise, you need one like this. P4230013 P4230014
