28 April 2009 Unwinding at Palm Island SC

Finally a time to sleep in a bit and no driving scheduled. Today we will spend time in the sun and have fun with some school in the afternoon.

Early morning today and we decide to sleep in a bit The beach for today with wonderful weather.

27 April 2009 Savannah GA to Isle of Palms South Carolina

 

After a long drive from Atlanta we now decide to take a break and stay at the coast of South Carolina for two days to relax before the next FLW Stren at Santee Cooper.

From  Savannah which is still in Georgia we drive the last 200 miles to South Carolina. This is an area with a lot of islands that are interconnected by bridges.

26 April 2009 From Atlanta to Savannah Georgia

We take on the last leg to the east coast today and will hit 3 Bass Pro’s on the way. The weather is holding up and is great wish temperatures at around 29 deg C. You get he feel of the South here with the people all dressed up on Sunday in Dixie style.

This is the actual current official world record Bass and it was caught in Georgia. Some big Bass in this aquarium This Bass Pro was situated in a Mall, and we saw this big touch screen vending machine From inside the mall Great taxidermy as art of the displays. The lamps hanging from the ceiling.

Then we go and we find the next Bass Pro on the way to Savannah. This was the first Bass Pro Warehouse we found.

Ei Oh its off we go. We drive through a quaint town for lunch. A small town called Dublin.
