07 March 2009 2 Days of Kennedy Space Centre

Today we went to look at some Motor-homes and seeing that NASA's Kennedy Space centre was close we opted to visit this venue.

Here we had the opportunity to see the Space Shuttle on the launch pad being prepared for launch on the 11th of March 2009. We also saw the launch of the new Keppler Camera with the Delta two rocket.

There were a lot of activities that took two days to complete. We were on a simulation of a shuttle launch, were spun at 4G's, watched a 3D Imax movie of how the Space Station is being built. All awesome  events.

Then there were the exhibits of all the original Rockets that NASA ever sent to space etc. too much for words, but hopefully the pictures tell a story.
