This weekend we were invited to a Birthday party for a 1 year old and it was really fun to have interaction with normal local people, ad not just in the restaurant setup. After that we prepared ourselves for a hectic Saturday night of deliveries a st he weather was all stormy and people would rather order takeout.
For Sunday we had the East coast in mind for some swimming, snorkeling and fishing. The destination was Port Canaveral. This is the place where all the Disney cruise ships depart from when going to the Bahamas. We fished from the rocks and they even had a pier that is deep into the ocean, but the fish were not really biting. We then decided to go swimming on the beach which was just adjacent to the pier. Water was low as the tide was receding, but this did not put a damper on things as we had some fun in the surf. One weird thing was all the flounders we accidentally stepped on whilst wading in the surf, this was quite creepy and slippery.
After some fun we left Jetty Park and drove a few mile back to the lagoon where we caught some more fish and the also snorkeled. One of the highlights was seeing a wild seahorse in the water grass and having the opportunity to hold and study it in real life.
Well here are the pics.
