Gosh another week gone by.

This is starting to sound like a broken record. We are so busy that we do not even realise that another week has gone by. We have moved to the new vacation home and at last the kids could purchase their new computers so that they can stay at home to play. Now the only thing holding them back is that there is no internet.

I also had to go out and spoil myself so we bought our first Kayak. A tandem that we can use for fishing. Now I am one of the Kayaking fraternity until I can get my long awaited Ranger.

Unfortunately the photos of the new accomodations are on Amelias phone so I wil upload them later.

Here are some pics of our new toy, and by the way on our first outing on Lake Louisa we caught 5, but only landed 2. Still got to get used to fishing sitting down.

Waiting in anticipation!

We can't wait to move to our new transition home just a mile away from the restaurant. This will give us chance to save about one and a half hours just on travelling each day. It wil reduce it to just five minutes.

The other advantage is that we will also be able to leave the kids at the resort to play tennis and all other outdoor activities and not have hem bred at the restaurant. Mich and myself have also eyed a double kayak for fishing , seeing we will only be 200m from Lake Louisa.

Two advantages: early morning fishing and upper body workout every other day.

Hopefully this will be a busy weekend for us, then we can relax and get everything packed on sunday for our move.

Once we have moved we will update some pics.

Another week gone by.

Gee again another week has blown by and I only noticed now how long ago I posted on the blog.

Some updates : On Wednesday we took a day off to go to the West coast (Tampa) to have a look at what we missed last time. Pity the weather was cloudy windy and cold, but it still ended as a great day off. We at least caught some fish on drop-shot in the bay. I caught a speckled sea trout of about 30 cm. The a lizard type fish and Michi caught a small Stump nose type fish.

We also had the opportunity to have some meat on coals during this trip, but I still maintain that grilling in public places is not posible due to the thick bars they use on the grid.
But on the upside the pork steaks we braai'd were soooo tender and tastefull on the rolls.

We also had some excitement when Michelle spotted some local wildlife behind the Restaurant yesterday. This was a harmless ringneck snake.

And here Michelle is with a Ferret, she cannot wait to get one once our pets have arrived here from South Africa.

Amelia and myself also went to an Laywer about our E2 Visa application and were impressed as to how his office looked.

And today I made my first attempt at Boerewors for the Restaurant . Not all successful yet, as the Grinder did not stuff properly, so we had to drive to Gander mountain to purchase a proper stuffer, so tomorrow I will continue.
